Day 3 Create a journal

Day 3 Create a journal

With most things in life, there is a light and a dark side. We all need a personalized system to process scenes, remarks, images, and social interactions that catch us off guard, and throw our thoughts into the dark. Or better yet, a way to catch the good times in a way that will remind us of how to remain in the light.

Do you have a system?

One poignant way to reflect, process & destress, or remain motivated, is through journaling. It has been found that journaling not only enhances creativity, but also boosts mental health.

A journal is a structured way of putting your thoughts down on paper. It is both a way to cleanse and recreate thought, or build a brand new a vision. You do not have to write extensive memoirs to benefit from journaling, just a brief output of thoughts or some motivational reminders, work perfectly. Feel free to post quick thoughts, notes, things you love, triumphs, tickets stubs, reminders, or future goals.

Take this day to simply purchase/create a journal. Pick one that suits your personality (think color and style) as well as level of convenience (think size and spiral versus lined or unlined). Future posts will include a few 5-minute ways to put it to use.

 Enjoy ~
